OUR MISSION

To provide a spiritual foundation to lead children to a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Believing that what is done in the early years can make an eternal difference in the life of a child.

The River's Edge Children's Ministry is a Bible based ministry that partners with parents to support children from birth to 5th grade. Parent’s involvement is encouraged by serving in ministering to our children through River's Edge Children's Church program or by encouraging children to memorize scripture and apply Bible stories.

Our desire is to provide an atmosphere that is both fun and educational for children and their families. God’s Word is taught through a variety of activities, worship, prayer, Bible study, scripture memorization and Bible learning snack and craft activities.

GET INVOLVED

There is always a need for help in the Children’s Ministry, whatever your gift is, there is a place for you to serve. We are currently looking for loving and caring individuals to become a part of our life changing children’s ministry.

Experience is not required, as guidance, training and encouragement is provided by the leadership team. The focus of the Children’s Ministry is to share the love of Jesus Christ, learn more about Him, and to build relationships.

We are always seeking potential leaders in our Children’s Ministry such as, large group teachers and worship leaders, computer technicians, small group shepherd’s, loving arms to hold and nurture babies and toddlers, and resource ministers.

All volunteers in the Children’s Ministry have completed the Journey to Freedom class. Plus, every volunteer will have a background check.
