The Discipleship Ministry at Liberty Church is a three-fold progressive ministry. It consists of the Connection Track & Dream Team, Small Groups and Growth Track.

It all begins with the Connection Track. God has an incredible purpose for your life, and the Liberty Connection Track is designed to help you connect with that purpose.

On the Connections Track, you will spend four Sundays diving into what it looks like to “Follow Jesus”, “Connect to the Church”, “Discover your Purpose” and then “Make a Difference with your Life”.

The Connection Track happens every month, starting with Step One on the first Sunday of the month, followed by Step 2, Step 3 and Step 4 on each consecutive Sunday thereafter. We invite you to jump in at any time. These classes will help guide you through the essential steps that every believer needs to take to become a fully-devoted follower of Christ, including the opportunity to be water baptized.

The Connection Track encourages you to accomplish three things:

(1) connect to a ministry of your choice,
(2) begin to serve, and
(3) connect into a small group.

The Small Groups meet in homes in the Arab and surrounding area on a weekly basis.

Led by mature and welcoming men and women graduates of Liberty’s Growth Track Ministry, the meetings include relevant and practical teachings based on the Word of God, communicated in an intimate setting where members can grow in their relationship with God and other people.

Members are encouraged to bring lost friends and relatives with them to the meetings. The goal of the Small Groups is to help each member grow to his or her fullest potential in Christ, while at the same time build relationships and deeper friendships with others.

The Growth Track is designed to take a person on a 27-week journey to develop them into their full potential to fulfill God’s plan for their life.

• Discipleship begins with the Journey to Freedom Class, students attend classes based on the fundamental basics of what it means to be a believer. After four weeks into the Journey to Freedom Class, the students attend a life-changing Encounter Weekend, after which they will complete six more classes to conclude the first segment of the Growth Track.

• Advanced Discipleship Classes incorporate Cultivate 1 and Cultivate 2 are available to all who complete the Journey Class and Encounter Weekend. We hope that the Journey Class kindled a desire to continue spiritual growth, to develop leadership skills, and discover gifts and callings. Upon completion of the Growth Track, graduates are qualified to lead a ministry upon approval of Pastoral Staff.
